Teaching Methodologies & Distinctive Practices
Our approach blends structured instruction with active learning. Teachers use explicit modeling, guided practice, differentiated small groups, and formative assessment to ensure that every child progresses confidently. Our learning centers, inquiry-based explorations, technology-based tasks, and collaborative activities also allow students to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
Most importantly, we prioritize language development across all subjects, ensuring our English language learners have ample opportunities to strengthen academic vocabulary and communication skills. Continuous data monitoring enables us to provide targeted support and enrichment, ensuring both intervention and challenge are embedded within daily instruction.
What Makes Our Curriculum Unique
What distinguishes our Kindergarten curriculum is its high expectations combined with strong support systems. We do not separate academic rigor from developmental appropriateness , we integrate them! Students are encouraged to think deeply, ask questions, and express their ideas while receiving the structure and guidance necessary for success.
In addition, our program combines academic excellence with character formation, preparing students for the next grade level and equipping them with confidence, discipline, and skills to thrive long-term at IQAS and beyond.
