The IQAS High School Department offers a carefully curated curriculum for Grades 9 to 12, aligned with the Common Core State Standards. This integrated and cohesive curriculum provides an academically challenging framework and essential life skills suited for adolescence. It incorporates emotional intelligence and interdisciplinary subject integration to enhance holistic development.

Key Features of the Curriculum:

• Credit Courses Structure:

  • 1-Credit Courses: 3-4 sessions per week (each session lasting 45-50 minutes).
  • 0.5-Credit Courses: 2 sessions per week (each session lasting 45-50 minutes).

• Electives and Advanced Placement:

  • Elective courses are available for Grades 11 and 12.
  • Advanced Placement (AP) courses are planned for introduction in the 2025-2026 academic year.

• High School Diploma Requirements:

  • Students must earn 30 credits over four years to qualify for the IQAS High School Diploma.
